Rusty rads

Post by Gwenoakes »

Put on here some weeks ago about the bathroom rad going rusty at the bottom. Had some good replies, but was watching Superscrimpers the other night and they suggested WD 40 with an ordinary scourer.

Gave it a go this morning and it works!! Obviously havent painted it yet, but so far, so good and it hasnt cost us a penny............yet. LOL

Don't forget to degrease the rad (remove traces of the wd 40) before painting, otherwise the paint won't stick )t'

Cheap cream cleaner and washing up liquid removed the WD40, but did do it three times, just to make sure you understand. LOL
