Warming up ready!

Post by Mallard »

Got my gro-bags from bee and queue, reduction on buying four and my Wednesday 10%! )grin2(
I'm trying the sawn off pot method this season. All the wooden stuff is ex pallet!
The seeds will go in pots next month.

Hi Mallard

That looks fantastic! How do you keep up the motivation to make all your things still in the winter? Mr Rubyhen agreed to make your candle/pots greenhouse warmer but he hasn't got round to it yet (maybe for next year then... :-D )

Whenever the sun shines my plot catches all of it! )grin2( So I spend a lot of time there. I've made some mods to the candle heater, but haven't tested it yet, as the new electric max/min thermometer packed in working! Seems they make greenhouse thermometers that don't like damp! yike*
Looking at that pic, I think I can add long seed boxes on the gro-bag benches for basil! 8)

I used bottomless pots in a couple of grow bags last year. Much better water retention than normal large pots. )t'
