pop bottle green house

My hubby has just told me of a local school who has recycled plastic pop bottles to make a green house.I think this is a brilliant idea if it works.Does any one else no of this idea?, i would be tempted to try this one as we recycle so many pop bottles >mmm<
family= 1 hubby, 3 kids, 3 cockatiels, 1 dog,3 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit,2 hamsters, 11 ex batts ,2 magpie hens,2 bluebell hens and 1 hen that addopted me.

It's an idea that's been around for a while. I've seen pictures of several on the internet. If you do a search for 'plastic bottle greenhouse' or something similar you'll find lot's of material. It won't be easy to make but a great way of direct recycling )grin2(

My childrens school has been collecting for the past 2 years and we have almost engough!! we plan to build in march!! any volenteers??
I have chickens Blaze, Star and Comet, who have met Sunny Clucker in Cheshire :-)

Built this weekend!!! i'll post photos later, but it was so much fun!!

Lizzie, are we friends on facebook?? There are some photos their but my son is using the laptop for homework so it might be a while!!!

Both? A lot of the DTL peeps are friends on FB, but not all just looked at the DTL group and there are over 400 people!!! That would be a lot of friends :-D

Ah, so you've done it. I like the colour scheme.

I use pop bottles on broomsticks for picking apples that are too high to reach. Cut a v in the end to hold the stalk, a little twist and the fruit 's in the bottle. A big one one a long plastic pipe for big apples, and a small one on a broom for plums.
