looking good )t' Sowing stuff indoors is a good idea, especially the tomatoes but you could get away with putting the lettuce and spring onions in the greenhouse to start them off. Lettuce don't need it too warm to grow once they have germinated and grown a few leaves otherwise they may go to seed very quickly especially in a greenhouse when temperatures will start to soar when the sun comes out. Successional sowings of lettuce direct in the soil outside from about mid-April throughout spring and summer will be fine. Good luck with the veg growing stace :-D

Cheers everyone {hug&kiss}

And Perchy will pop to wilkos and get some pegs {hug}

Stace, it will be fine and you will have a glass greenhouse within the next year, it is catching )t' The pegs are great, put them in at an angle, I think there is 10 in a pack )t'
I always do a packet of cress, it gives incentive as it grows quick, treat yourself today and lovely with egg sandwiches )t'

They are pricey, I really wanted one and had it for my birthday one year, we went to foccuuss and it was £199 bt the next size up which I have now was £299 yike* I decided the little ones would last longer, I happened to pop into focus towards the end of the summer and the larger greenhouse was in the sale £150 so I got it, was lucky to have the cash at the time, but it was before son went to uni :-D

You will get one, second hand ones can be a real bargain )t'

Hi Stace that is the greenhouse I started with about 6 years ago, I wasnt sure I would be patient enough to do fiddly pricking out and so on but it grabbed me and I got hooked. My greenhouse now is 6 x 8 but only a bottom end of the market one but what I would say that £ for £ the little one I started with like yours gave me fabulous results. I found siting my greenhouse quite hard as I wanted to be able to go out and do a bit of pottering without having to don wellies or gardening shoes so didnt want it the far side of the garden so its on the patio near to the back kitchen door but not the best spot for the sun . If I ever get my dream of a cedarwood greenhouse it will have to be in the sunnier bit of the garden with a path laid up to it so I can carry on gardening in my slippers (you should see the state of them sometmes) . You are going to be so amazed at your results.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

Well its still up at the moment, no problems with the wind. We have lots of plants in there for the hanging baskets, must say Mr Stace has been seeing to it all for the past few weeks. He is making hanging baskets for about 10 people at the moment, will try and take some pics later for you all )t'
