Cane Toppers

A thought just occured to me whilst I was staring at my craft box and in particular my Fimo clay.

I could make my own Cane Toppers! So, I have a question for you all.

If you could have any style, colour, shape Cane Topper, what would you have?

Me personally, I think I would quite like characters from another forum I frequent for Gamers.

What material are they made from. Do you seal them with varnish.

They are made from a sculpting clay called Fimo, commonly used for bead making and little minatures. Yes, I plan to varnish them I just haven't been able to afford any varnish yet. :(

Another vote for gargoyles, I love gargoyles and have quite a good collection in my garden.


I recycle my old wine corks for cane toppers currently.

I use those little plastic bottles that you get yogurt drink in. I spent a constructive half an hour on the lotty in the sun with a marker pen drawing faces on mine!
They rattle as well to scare the birds!

I use Chrome (and FF, IE and Opera) - no one else has mentioned any problems... I will move the image onto my server...
