Well...my Hebe has had a trim..and a good one at that {rofwl}
I've taken some before and after pictures and I'll post them as soon as my photobucket account gets sorted }hairout{

Lizzie that doesn't look too bad at all.. )t' It won't be long before all the stems are covered in tiny green shoots..

I was renovating a house about 3 yrs ago and the garden had a lovely boarder like yours .. full of Hebe and Euonymus...I knew that as soon as the builders started knocking off the outside rendering that the garden stood no chance .. so I pruned all the shrubs really hard ..I mean within inches of their life )grin2( .. couple of months later, builders gone and all the rubble cleared from the garden,
and they all started shooting again..the tennants have recently moved out and I've just been up to check it over and it looks fab..will take a pic next time I go up.. )t'

Thanks Jannie, I'm pleased with it, it doesn't look too grim..I gave it a very weak feed, but am confident it'll be ok.
Also pruned the euonymus out of my heather..but didn't trim Heather as I wasn't sure if it ready to flower or if it has finished..think it's finished but I'll give it a few weeks just to be sure )t'
