I bought a tray of them last in the boot sale and they did really well. I am not sure if they are just bushy plants or if there are several plants in each module, but I just shove them in! I had so many last year I could hardly keep up!

I tried growing Sweet Pea last year and failed miserably. Is it too late to plant some now(ish)?

Yours looks lovely PPen but I am worried about that sunburn, get yourself some sunblock next time.

You are very lucky having grandchildren, I will never be a grandma {cry} daughter will always put ponies before children

I Love sweetpeas too, my grandpa used to grow them and the scent is wonderful. However, mine have also always failed when I've planted them {cry} . I do have a bit if a black thumb though- I even managed to kill a bramble when I planted that for blackberries!

Now that takes real skill )t' You wouldn't like to come over and kill my brambles and bindweed would you?

Isn't it odd that most of us have one or two things that we can't grow as well as we would like.

I honestly never had that much luck with them till I bought these plants. As I said they were in modules and looked like bushes. I can't imagine they were all seeds as for £2.50 they would not have made a profit.
