Aaaargh, bindweed!

Post by Mallard »

I've taken out a lot of raspberry canes on my newest bit of plot, and underneath it, masses of bindweed roots! yike* I've only forked through a few square yards and had two wheelbarrow loads. Lots more digging, good job I've all winter! )gr:

It is a pain isn't it, we have loads, all growing up through a large fuschia I will have to start pruning and getting it out by the root }hairout{

Problem being its like couch grass, you've only got to break off a bit of the root and it grows from that bit. I used to have a lot of it over the allotment in UK. Tumbleweed brush is good for it.
