A Garden

Post by Maggie1 »

I saw this on a gardening forum. Yes its lovely but I would find it a chore to spend 8 a day in the garden. Plus I bet he doesn't get much wildlife if he's out there always manicuring it.

Either he has a partner who does all the housework for him (sorry, I didn't read the entire article so that may have been included), or his house is a righteous tip.

I rather liked the garden - such amazing colours, it is a labour of love and gives anyone who sees it a moment of pleasure. It could have gone the other way with the back garden waist high in weeds and brambles, with a rusty old car perched on bricks disintergrating and polluting the area.

It's very pretty and nice that he did it in a way that he has color year round, but it's too much of all the same for me. I want a variety of flowers and definitely veggies and I like a cosier cottage type garden, myself~

and what is wrong with that?

That garden is a little too much for me but that is ideally what we want the house banks to look like but in a low maintenance version.
