Cant believe I'm saying this but thank heavens we've had rain...
Flaming strange weather so far this year - non stop rain for what seemed like months and then lots of heat, cloud, heat ... but no rain, and our wonderfully solid clay soil lawn was developing huge cracks again..

I can practically hear the trees and flowers drink!! )c( )c(

No cheers here for rain. My village has got big celebrations from 4pm-8pm for the jubilee so like alot of places...going to be a total wash out. I was being totally unsociable and hdn't bought any tickets as got my friend here and doing our own thing but the stupid thing is if you turn up on the day you can't get in as they are insisting on buying tickets in advance. Personally I think that is ridiculous as they are not really providing anything food-wise...as it is take a picnic...even if they had charged a bit more on the day.
