Re: Ants nest?I read somewhere that you just leave ants to get on with it, they will help with the composting process.
2 other things: your compost may be a bit dry, ants don't usually take up a wet residence so wee in it - or pour in a bucket of water. Or just stir it more than you do - ants don't like being disturbed. I have 4 daleks and one is dryer and has ants, the others are soggy and don't. I usually just let whatever wants to live in them until I need the contents! 1 dumbo rat still without a name; 2 top eared rats Octavia and Ursula
