Watering

Post by Homemade »

With all the recent cold weather and particularly with the cold winds and frosts many gardens may well be very dry. New plantings and plants in tubs are particularly vulnerable. I have been watering my potted plants and the hedge that was planted last year.

Seems strange, last summer was so wet that I didn't water anything and now I am out watering in the cold!

I think the winds that we've had is very drying. Don't water late though, do it first thing as it still gets very cold at night and thats a sure way of losing plants.

I have been delayed in starting my watering job (hopefully start a week monday) but as you say, some need water.

I think my poor jasmine in a pot may have dried out. My fault entirely }hairout{
