Another plant question...Does anyone know what this is:
Does anyone know what this is? by LittleBrownFrog, on Flickr It's growing like crazy, has long twining stems, and is growing out from somewhere in the middle of the bay tree. Re: Another plant question...It looks like a Japanese Rose (Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora') .. it grows like crazy, we used to live next door to one and I was for ever pulling up roots from my border.
Re: Another plant question...I have one.
Very pretty flowers, but my goodness, grows like wildfire. I have to prune it down all year. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning
Re: Another plant question...Is that the same as the one I used to call Butlers Buttons ? It was a kerria of some sort, quite a good flower to have at the back of a border if you can keep it in check.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

I agree, I've always called it Wandering Jew http://www.google.ie/search?q=kerria+ja ... 92&bih=541
Re: Another plant question...Yes - that's it. Thank you ladies It can stay where it is for now, and I'll encourage it over towards the ugly wall I think.
