A good garden morning

Post by albertajune »

I have for the first time this year, had a really good morning in the garden. The weather is spring like and having little rain for the last 4 days, just the odd shower, has helped the ground, so could rake off debris and stones that have come to the surface.
Had a good tidy up, with the help of my 3 chickens, who are now sitting in the sun under their favourite shrub, pruned the grape vine a little and got rid of old plants no longer wanted. I now feel so much more me and very satisfied. :-D
I hope other parts of the UK are having a bit of this sunshine, although sod's law, with me writing this the cloud is now appearing.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

It would be a good morning for gardening if we had a bog garden rather than a garden that had turned into a bog :-D

It's bright now, but some of this mornings rain seemed to be coming down in flakes not drops.
