garden in bloom

Post by albertajune »

There are already so many flowers out in bloom but shame the weather today won't let them be enjoyed.
Already out are climbing roses, different colour iris, delphiniums and dahlias. Plenty more in bud along with figs getting a good size and grapes ready to burst into flower. The spring clematis Montana rubens is still in flower which this year has given a wonderful display of flowers. Over the last couple of days it has been so good to sit in the sun and enjoy the garden, but back today to windy, overcast and the threat of rain, which to be honest we do need. Cold with it which gives me the blues, so roll on summer which I think is officially with us shortly. )t'
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

The early blossoms have been really lovely this year.
But the weather has been so strange. Lovely warm days and then suddenly cold again.
Today it is raining, so not nice at all.
