Refreshing Coir

I had asian lily bulbs last year growing in a pot of coir type compost. They survived and are poking up again. If I want to keep them in the pot, is it OK just to use a liquid feed or should I be adding anything to the mix itself? I don't have any to add, btw, just compost or maybe anything else advised.
