I got my first 2 chickens on Wednesday. The lady i got them from said they were about 20 weeks old.
One girl has produced an egg every day since getting her but the other, nothing as yet.
When is she likely to start and when should i be concerned that she hasn't?

I heard that the earliest hens start laying at is 5 to 6 six months after they hatch, thats when mine started laying, so its pritty true but some times they can take a couple more months. And then if she still has not started she just must not be a good layer, hope i have been a good help.
