Chicken Treats

There was a thread on this, but I can't find it now!

What does the average softy give their hens as a treat? Ours love wild bird seed now and then, but all ideas gratefully considered!

Rice, spaghetti, meal worms, porridge.A dozen and one things I can't remember them all.
I hang spring greens, curly kale, broccoli etc from the top of the run or the trees in the run they love to peck at it gives them hours of entertainment.

Thanks Wendy! Presumably COOKED rice and spaghetti? Mine seem quite partial to my fingers at the moment, so something new and exciting to peck at is in order! Will go down to the pet shop in search of meal worms!

Well, I've just cooked up (thanks... I'm a bear of very little brain!) some spaghetti, and whilst the Warren thought it was Christmas, the BR has taken some persuading. There is much throwing a spaghetti going on, and the warren is rather covetous of hers!
