Broody Bovan

Been a while since i last posted here, but i do keep browsing

This week, one of our Bovan Neros has decided to go all broody on us. She is still laying, but tends to spend all day sitting on it ( and usually the rest of the eggs as all 4 seem to like the same spot ). So to get the eggs usually involves either getting them when she is having a rare wander outside ( we cant see the house and run from our house, so she could be popping out more often ) , or dodging a beak

We were thinking about maybe getting a few more chickens, so i'm planning on getting her her own little house and run ( rabbit ark type ) , giving some ebay eggs a go ( nothing to fancy and expensive ), and seeing what happens.

Has anyone else had luck hatching eggs that have come through the post ?

Daz
