whats with the noise

so....they cirrup a little between themselves and when i arrive to say hello to them but its generally just a 'natter' kinda noise!
today however, one in particular is squarking. loud invasive squarking and i dont know why. and then another joins in.....almost like they are having an argument about who can squark loudest!
nothing i doo seems to settle them.
whats this about?
