ICE JUGS:

Take some gallon jugs, juice containers, water bottles, and fill them with water. Place in the freezer. After completely frozen, place in the chicken coop, in their favorite dusting spots, or anywhere that they love to go. (you can even put mini water bottles in the nest boxes) They will sit by them/on them, and they will cool off. (replace often)

Edit: I have just put some in the freezer and added a few drops of cochineal red food colouring to make the water quiet vividly red. My theory is that this will give the hens added attraction to the water coolers as they will investigate them more quickly and realise they are cool - we all know they love RED.
