I know this is the chicken section, but if had to let you all know that my little call duck is laying eggs )t' hubby took up a decking board today and found her little stash of half a dozen. I don't really want her laying there, but if we stop her I'm not sure where she will go. At least we know where she is when she disappears out of sight.

That's great news, it's exciting isn't it?! Does she have a drake? Could she be broody maybe?

Yes she has a drake, I'm not sure if she is broody or not. Are ducks like chickens, do they sit and refuse to be moved when they are broody, if so then she is not broody.

Yep, she probably isn't broody then. I think calls lay 1-2 eggs a week, is that about right? I don't have any, just going on what I have read. Would love some pictures!
