Baytril and egg eating

Post by chicks&cats »

Hi All,
Marigold has had a few visits to the vet recently following a scare when I thought she had suffered a prolapse but now believe that she must have laid a softy which my other hen ate off her bottom feathers included {mr.angry} Following a 5 day course of Baytril plus cream she looks a million times better and back to normal relations with her sister. I understand that there is a period of time when we should not be eating the eggs but received conflicting advice from the vets ranging from 2 weeks, 4 weeks and never eating her eggs again }hairout{ Any advice would be brilliant: thanks.
