oldest chicken had on forum

Hi . A question . My girls are getting veterans now lodest girl must be coming up to 3 years old 18 months in cages/farms plus 1 year 4months with me .
Who has had the oldest chickens . Told they live 8 years , they must be real tough girls to stay that distance in time. Any memories worthy of telling ,

Our oldest hen, Millie, is the third chook we bought and is now six and a half years old.

Silkie babe the silkie was bought Point-of-Lay 10 april 2003 so about 24 weeks old, passed away halloween 2014

My current oldest, Ellwood, is 5 yrs 7 months, but my all time oldest was over 6.

My current girl Iris is 6 months younger than Elwood Helen
