I agree Cheshire Chick, the advice I have been given on this forum is excellent and greatly appreciated.

I have today started Flossie on the Flubenvet worm treatment given on a piece of grape as per Karen's suggestion. Unfortunately things aren't going so well today. I checked Flossie's crop mid afternoon and it felt completely empty, so I brought her inside and force fed some moistened mashed pellets. She's a bit quiet too. I hope she hasn't taken a turn for the worse after her recent good progress. The weather is awful here so I'll keep her indoors for the time being.

Please could someone tell me the correct dose for Metacam for a hen? I once accidentally overdosed my chihuahua on it so I am a bit scared of it!

Many thanks

Gillian
