I have babies

Post by Megsmum »

Well, so far I have one baby. One hatched this morning. Now I wait for the rest >eas2<

I’ve left Mrs Broody in the main coop with her one baby and eggs and opened up the second coop for the rest of th flock for the next 24 hrs

I’m so tempted to keep looking but not sure if I’m doing more harm than good, when do you think all eggs that will hatch , will be , well hatched :b(

Thanks

I'm pretty sure mine always hatched within a couple of days. My broody sat for an extra day when one egg failed to hatch, then gave up & took the other chicks out for a walk. The mums know best.
By the way...we'd like to see a pic )piicy(
I made a diary of my last hatch, here is the link incase there's anything useful for you in it .viewtopic.php?f=88&t=50908&hilit=chickies" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
