Got my 3 chooks at last.
They are apparently 18 weeks old and i'm wondering how long it takes for them to lay. I have read that 20 weeks is the normal period. Is this roughly the rule ?
As for chasing me around the garden begging for food it is quite the opposite they are so layed back they could be described as carpet underlay (Excuse the pun). All the same it's great to have them at last.
