3 eggs today and a softie :? Gave the run a good clean out and new Bliss flooring. Course the girls had to 'help', its a wonder they weren't flattened getting under my feet, had to shut them out in the end bless em :-D

Everything frozen this morning :? Luckily OH put some fresh water out for the girls before they got up and he went to work :-D . There was another softie today with a bit of blood, don't know who laid it but their back ends are all ok so will just have to keep an eye on them. hate it when things like that happen )gr:

It makes me laugh that hens are so contrary, Mine bugged me for ages to let them out today and yet as soon as I cleaned out their run and covered it with lovely clean fresh straw they couldn't get back in fast enough...lol...I hope who ever it is thats laying the softies is ok

Frozen here yesterday too lucky had taken the water bowls into the house over night was accompanied by a few slugs and earwigs who had been living in the little green legs!

Oh Yeuck! Slugs and Earwigs are the worst sile}
About 5" of snow here today. Went out to the girls at 8.00am (OH had already checked their water {hug&kiss} ) 3 eggs in the nest box :-D and all the girls seem well. A bit of snow had blown in the front of the run and they were going nowhere near it as it might just swallow them up whole!!! Rose popped her head out of the door to have a nose but that lasted a couple of seconds. They are all staying towards the back of the run in the dry, sensible girls :-D Snow is still coming down quite heavy, wondering if the roof of the run should be swept off but OH says it will be fine as he did a good job,...famous last words... :?

They all ventured out this morning, think they are getting bored. Sweetie is the bravest and had a look round the garden, she was up to her tum at times :-D Mind you she was whining all the time about there being no earth to scratch in,

That has really made me chuckle {rofwl} I love the post on the photos ,shall we go out? no we wont, brilliant )t' Great how you manage to photo Heidi, very artistic. Mine are absolute wusses upto yours I have had to remove the snow from their pallets.
