Does Aubiose compost down easily and is it the same as hemp bedding. I am trying to find something to use in my run that I can also compost easily to use on the allotment :-D

Woops Morbidia, I just realised that I've given you duff information!

The stuff currently on the run floor is Hemcore, which is pretty much like Aubiose.

As far as I know it does compost down okay )t'

Here's some more info for you

All went to bed together last night again {hug}

Betty also made me a whopper of an egg as well, which I'm about to have poached for my brekky. I weighed it on my new digi scales and it's 104g! :-D

As it happens, Benny and I just had to investigate as we heard a right old racket outside.... it was Betty stood at the top of the stairs shouting her head off!

Wonder if it's another whopper? +f+

Isn't she just hey {hug}

I've just had the egg from the racket the other day, boiled with bagel soldiers. It was a big one too and I reckon it might just have been a double yolker as it had lots and lots of yolk )eat(

There's been some goings on in the eglooop this morning......

As always Nita makes her egg first, then Betty goes in second.

Well just now I noticed that both Gloria and Margie were in there with Betty, with Nita stood on the stairs overseeing the proceedings.

Wonder if Gloria and Margie are making us an easter egg? :bun:

They were having me on I think..... {rofwl}

Heard a right old racket from all four of them - Margie and Gloria have found their voices - so went to check with anticipation.

Two eggs for now, oh well >fi<

I had a feeling something was going on........

Kept seeing Gloria and Margie going into the nest box.

We went out and when we got back, Margie was in the egloooooop and on the nest box.

I was doing my bits and bobs in the kitchen with one eye on them all and noticed Margie come down the stairs.

Excitedly I went to have a look, but nothing, only a big hole in the bedding in the nest box - she's trying it out for size I said to Hubbly {rofwl}

Then still with one eye on her, I was about to say to Hubbly "Margie's vent is open", when out she pops an egg in the run!

Bless her, thank you very much Margie - I saw her very first egg being laid :-D

Here it is :-D
