Today I visited Desmond and Jack .
I was told that Jack the eyed boy , had died in a corner of a coop .
It was to be , wish I could have kept him.
End of another lad from Penelope and Red.

We remember Jack the Hansom Lad very well, he was a dashing one-eyed pirate and we will miss tales of him tearing up the flock of Penny and Red very much. We hope he behaves himself when he joins the rest of the Henpal Hunks over the bridge!

Very sad news friom our flock today - Willow has left us and is probably slowly pottering her way across the Rainbow Bridge, stopping to inspect every interesting thing on there

We will miss her quiet presence in the coop

We keep looking through the glass doors but little Lottie is gone, we cant hear her chirping anymore. Goodbye tiny one.

Fly high our beautiful baby, we missed you when you moved home May 4th but knew you were going to a happier place. We thank and send out love to The House of Chickenopoulis for welcoming our Lottie into your hearts and home.

So sad but she has lots of tales to tell of places seen and friends she met.
An expected loss but never easy , as she touched so many hearts . I still can see the two together.

Hi all , sad news from the flock of Penelope and Red .
After a long time 2 ring light blue died last night .
She was a lovely hen and though she was aged she could still get the treaats she deserved .
As the oldest hen in my flock she is an end of a period of chicken keeping going back years .
She really began to show her age in the summer . Expecting the worse ever day , I found her dead in the coop .
She was in good condition though light in weight . ate cat food in my kitchen only yesterday afternoon .
Another hen that has left her mark on my heart . Though it is sad I can say she had a really good life with me instead of ending up in a dog tin/cat tin food.
Fly high and say hello to those that have patiently waited for you over the years.
