Fox attack
Fox attackLast week I lost my youngest, fittest hen to a fox. Following losses last year we invested in electric fencing to add to our stock wire and 6 foot high fence. We became blasé, not having been troubled for a year and let them free range in a large garden. Now they are back in an electrified enclosure with a 50 metre perimeter. I will post the subsequent events over the next few days. All our hens are rehomed from commercial enterprises.
Re: Fox attackOh sorry to hear that you lost one of your chooks. Hopefully they will be safe again now behind the fence.
