Polly tunnel still not complete, but getting closer. Lots more raspberries and a fair few strawberries which are huge. Gooseberries turning red. Picked a few small courgettes and yellow bird squash which I am going to roast tonight. Cauliflowers getting bigger )t' and the onions don't look bad now I have weeded between em and can actually see em, and spotted a few really tiny beans. So maybe it won't be such a bad year after all. No eggs though {cry}

So far have had 4 kilos of raspberries, (good thing they are a super speed food on my diet) had first cauliflower which was very nice. Sweetcorns not upto much, they are on very smsll but starting to seed so dont hold out much hope, they looked really healthy when I planted em out but just havn't grown much. Think there will be enough beans for diner tonight >fi< I really must figure out the photos coz as they say a picture paints a thousand words :-D

Got myself a bean slicer yesterday and it works a treat )t' (last one I bought was rubbish). So last night I spent an hour slicing, blanching and freezing beans.

The runner beans are producing an abundance, probably the best veg i have grown this year. There was a time earlier in the year that I thought the wouldn't do well. Patience is a virtue as they say.

Brassicas in my Polly tunnel, not very big but they do look healthy. It is nice to see something still growing during the winter. I will be more organised next winter and will have it full Hopefully
