G'Evening Bill, blooming pesky caterpillars they're eating my swede tops got the global gathering less than 2 miles away this weekend goes on til 7am tomorrow we get lots of boom boom booomerty boom all night, and oh dear it's raining here again ! 60.000 people getting wet. I'm a bit of a grump bag when I don't get me sleep !

Take it thats like a Glastonberry thing Angela,can remember a few years back a rave in the next field we were caravanning in lasted all weekend was easier to join in ,those were the days.Still not enough rain to get any in butts
If you want to try something different next year can recomend these,they are a cucumber called Melona,they are sweet ,juicy,crunchy with a distinct melon flavour that lingers in the mouth,eaten straight off the vine they are delicious.
Those are seriously strange cucumbers. Look like garter snakes

Slugs and snails are a right pain Stewart ,first real rain today for a while several snails on the move on the garden ,most didnt get to far though . Dont know what a garter snake tastes like, but i bet these taste better
