Arrived home from work at 5.15 and went straight out into the garden, so a quick update

Well it's been a nice day today which was a pleasant surprise as the forcast wasn't good.
Sweetcorn seeds sown in the greenhouse.
Last of the potatoes planted, with help }hairout{ from the chookies.
Few more lettuce and spring onions sown.

I had a walk around my garden, green house and Polly tunnel this morning, nothing new to see, came home from work and there are 4 sunflowers through )t'

Thats a lot of garden and a lot of grass to cut , have you got a sit on mower or a big stick with a prod to keep OH on the move ?

Annie {rofwl} {rofwl} I have tried both your suggestions over the past 20 or so years but came up with the idea of paying a gardener to do it )t' . So he cuts the grass and hedges and we grow veggies, best decision I made. Hubby has his own business and works lonnnnnng hours, but he is now running his business from home so maybe he may have time to do it himself, that way he would have spare money to give to me >fi< I could buy more seeds, plants and perhaps chookies

Love the photos, I find everybodies photos and entries a real incentive. Think my runner beans have got away from me, very tall.

Wow it got exceptionally hot in the Polly tunnel today, 39.4 at one point.
Not done a great deal today, getting ready or my hols, hubby is staying at home so he will deal with the garden whilst I sun myself {hug}
