Well, I am back from my jollies and can't wait to recover from my jet lag and get out into the garden. The first early potatoes in the greenhouse are like triffids. I have had a walk round and inspected everything but am not up to actually doing anything. I am at work Thursday and Friday then have the long weekend off so weather permitting I will be gardening )t'

LL, I doubt I will ever put you to shame.
The rain has done the garden good, but now I would like some sun please )t'
The carrots are showing through but don't look fantastic.
The celeriac seeds in the greenhouse are very slow germinating, haven't grown any before so not sure if it is normal.
Green couchettes are panted out but the golden one from my friend is not quite big enough as yet.
I have been given 2 pumpkin plants which are ready to go out and a number of small squash plants but they are still a little small (no idea where I am going to put them all)
So up to now this s a list of what I hope will produce a crop
First early and main crop potatoes
Broad beans
Red and white onions
Garlick
Spring onions
Runner beans
Carrots
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Sprouts
Peas
Lettuce
Cucumber
Rocket
Tomatoes
Chillis
Peppers
Radish
Celeriac
Sweet corn
Turnip
Fennel
Strawberries
Gooseberries
Black currants
Raspberries
Pak choi
Hope fully some fruit from the dwarfe trees
>fi< for a bumper crop

Thanks Bob, didn't realize I had quite so much until I listed it all. It hasnt stopped raining for 2 days now and it's quite cool, just as I decided to risk it and put my runner beans and courgettes outdoors }hairout{. Ooohhhh the joys of vegetable gardening, glad I'm not a farmer.

Linda, she was eyeing up the newly planted veggies }hairout{
Last week as I was planting up the brassicas it was like a scene from a comedy, I was planting at one end, the girls were eating them from the other, I was shooing one girl away and another girl was sneaking in behind me {rofwl} {rofwl} neighbour was laughing at me {warn}
Today I plan to put the rest of the tomatoes into their final place, plant the Squash and pumpkins outdoors.
The sweet corn don't yet look big enough to go out.
The celeriac are only just starting to produce their true leaves.
I think that will be everything for me, unless I come across any cheap plants whilst I am out and about, I will have a tiny bit of space left +f+ so you never know

LL, the pot is an indoor one, but I decided I had had enough of it and told a friend she could take it to a car boot sale, but hubby commandeered it instead and it had been outdoors for over a year, I am surprised it survived the winter. Now it has a more suitable place, I love growing herbs.
