Graham's amateur pallet stuff!
Graham's amateur pallet stuff!Ok, I have just read about Project Pallet as I only joined yesterday, so today I've been busy.
Today's pallet creation was raised veg beds behind the garage. Ok, very amateurish, but hey, for free Of course, most of my pallets get turned into firewood. Again, not imaginative, but free heat in the winter is ok by me This is something from last year. We had some stuff at work delivered on 2 metre long pallets, so I grabbed them quick and turned them into a fire surround. They came 'ready distressed' and only needed a sand down and a couple of coats of varnish. Not enough time to do anything more imaginative before the end of summer, but really enjoying seeing what people are making from this treasure They said "Smile, things could be worse."
So I smiled.................and things got worse.

Re: Graham's amateur pallet stuff! The veg beds and the fire surround look brilliant Graham
How on earth do you get them appart in one piece? I had my hen house delivered on a pallet and I tried to take it appart but split all the wood Slave to 3 children, 1 Greyhound, 1 Cat, 4 rescued hens and a very patient hubby x

Re: Graham's amateur pallet stuff!
I dismantled them in the car park at work, and for every piece of wood I got apart successfully, I broke three I found that the best way was to stand there looking really silly and occasionally cursing then our engineers would come out of the workshop shaking their heads armed with crow bars and useful looking things in their hands The next day I gave them fresh eggs and tomatoes and made them mugs of tea My theory is that next time all I'll need to do is stack the pallets outside the workshop and leave fresh produce on their benches They said "Smile, things could be worse."
So I smiled.................and things got worse.
Re: Graham's amateur pallet stuff!LOL.....that's cheating!
