ive made some fairy cakes!! just plain boring ones!

4oz butter
4oz sugar
2 eggs
4oz sr flour

theyre in the oven right this minute!

do any of you have any ways of brightening them up a bit?

I often make fairy cakes with Katherine, who is four.

And no matter what i get out of the cupboard to decorate them with, it's always pink icing and silver balls.

I find them too sugary to eat after that!

my name is katharine! :shock:
and my daughter (6) wants to decorate all with pink icing and half of those with silver balls and the other half hundreds and thousands!

theyre yummy

and we managed to avoid the hundreds and thousands :razz: and substituted them for mini eggs :wink: :-D

but some have green icing :shock: (bogey monster cakes)
