Cleaning windows-chemical free

Post by PetHeaven »

Hello All
Thought I'd share with you a chemical free way of cleaning interior windows. I hate the job but have found a quick relatively easy and chemical free way to sparkling windows-only trouble is the expense!
I bought one of those very expensive e-cloths for glass and stainless steel, but you could always ask for one as a present.
Use an ordinary cloth with water (hot or cold seems to work the same) to wipe the windows and then rub over with the e-cloth until dry, and they come up really clean and streak free. I've had the e-cloth for a few years now (so its paid me back) and you can really do away with all that newspaper and vinegar stuff and any of those glass cleaning products that never really work.
Also Bar keepers Friend is great for degreasing ovens and general cleaning jobs and its much cheaper and lasts longer than all those branded items that are full of chemicals, colours and smells.
When is a chicken not a chicken?....when its a battery hen!

What's an e-cloth? Not come across it before.

A wee frugal tip for cleaning windows......

Avoid that annoying moment when you've cleaned them and can't work out which side of the window the smear is.....

Dry the inside with horizontal strokes and the outside, vertical.

That's amazing isn't it!!

Empty 500ml spray bottle

50 mls liquid soap

Top up with water

Now that's cheap!
