Look, the peace and quiet you can have while Al is occupied elsewhere must be worth a bob or two!

Awww Helen I am so sorry but you have it all wrong.
Al is so busy doing jobs all over the place that our time together is so valuable.
But , I am sure you will agree he is still a commodity with a value)t' {rofwl}

Hi Maggie, Sorry for not keeping this upto date.
For one reason or another its not finished yet, I have struggled to find the time for it. Having said that there has been a change of plan. My SIL is going to wait a while for her chooks as I have a customer for this one )t'

I have managed to get more done on the coop )c(
It is going to be delivered this weekend.
Here it is so far, I have started to make the sectional run and I will post more pics when its complete.
I may even ask the new owner to sign up to DTL :-D

Dorma pop hole.

Image

Painted inside, just hope the chooks like the minimalist plain white decor :-D
The two end pannels lift out completely (as in the picture) to make cleaning easier.

A bit more paint outside.

Thankyou both for the kind comments )
Maggie, If you compare it with some comercialy sold coops there is probably room for six hens
However, from the outset I built it to accomodate three hens.

Helen, I am not sure how long its going to stay white
I think I will put a door mat on the ramp and train the chooks to wipe their feet on the way in :-D

What about a little foot bath like you get in swimming pools? Or maybe a shower...or jacuzzi?

Mine actually have a jacuzzi which folds down from the wall inside the coop at night. They have a digipad with a pin number to open it to stop me using it during the day when they are in the run.
