I agree.

During the Industrial Revolution, the impact of pollution was local but the scale of industry today is immense in comparison. There are no borders or boundaries for this kind of thing, and climate change affects everyone. What is so scary is that when I was in school, some of todays issues cropped up even then. Thirty five years later not only are they still there, but accompanied by others and all are scarily out of proportion. Its total madness.
