Tesco apology

Note up in my local Tesco on the chicken section - apologising for the lack of free-range birds for sale due to increased demand following recent TV prog... working with supplies to rectify the situation apparently.

I don't normally buy a whole chicken to roast but after watching Hugh's chicken run about buying 2 (not free range) for £5 at t.e.s.c.o I started to take notice. Last Saturday I noticed they were £2.20p EACH! :shock:

In a strange horrible way, it's an insult to the chicken and for those who don't care where their chickens come from - it's an even better bargain.
