where and what to buy

Post by Willow »

Are we allowed to name shops or internet sites etc?... I thought it would be a great idea to share 'cheepest and best buys' with each other.. it would save on hours of internet trawling.. It may also be a big help to share worst buys...
I for instance would be interested in red mite powder / spray and wormers for the chooks... which of you have had good / bad experiences with which product and where is the cheapest place to buy??
Anything anyone has bought as a 'must have' only to find it totally useless?

Sounds a good idea.
I know that wormers come in small tubs which hold enough to do a commercial flock. When I'd done all the calculations I reckoned I had to put a teaspoon in a washing-up bowl of feed and this would last my 6 for the week I had to dose them.
The powder is best before about 3 years hence, so you could share the tub with 2 others and still have enough top keep you going.

Wilko '(c)', Bought seeds today well in date some 2009 - 75% off. worked out at £10.50p worth for £2.50 (checkout couldn't divide?)
I had to ask for them as they had taken them to the stock room.

Hi,

Fine to name Retailers, but beware saying nasty things for legal reasons etc.

Officially, anytime we mention a Company we should put a copyright symbol, so I've added one in smilies.

It's a 1,000,000 chance of anything going wrong, but it's there just in case

Thanks, Richard
