Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryMy lessening of the footprint today is, looking at the weather and not venturing out at all!

Re: Richards Carbon Challenge Diary Mine too! Perhaps I could have my own carbon diary - or perhaps not, as I burn too much toast!

Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiarySunday 3rd. Oct.
Once again I allowed the weather to defeat any intentions of going out. In fact I've had a completely lazy day, so very environmentally friendly! If we get a few dry days strung together and I can get on with the work I'm doing at the Club in Canterbury, I want to cycle. It's about 14 miles. My only concern is that the quickest and flatest route is the A28 and cyclists are extremely annoying to most drivers on that road. Richard New Member? Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryI have to say I have sinned today.
I took my son to Sevenoaks and where we needed to go is a bit far off the beaten track public transport wise, so we did the 80 odd mile round trip by car. I promise to try harder next time. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryYou should have made him walk. Starting last week.

Sunny Clucker enjoyed Folk music and song in mid-Cheshire
Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryI did do a long bike ride on Sunday, but I have to put in that rather than driving around the Co-Op I did cycle to the Co-op, the one 10 miles away, so I shall just classify it as the shorter distance.
I'm a bit tied down with work at the Cricket Club most days so that has stumped me a bit. No excuses, must try harder ! New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryAt least you haven't given up, there a lot to be said for that and every little bit helps even if it isn't a lot.
Bah Humbug
Re: Richards Carbon Challenge DiaryWow. 10 miles. That is a lot and really carbon neutral.
