Unloved
UnlovedUnloved
A familiar saying is, “Nobody loves me”, I stand alone in small woods, Sometimes I Look like a tree, Others, I’m hidden in petrol price signs, And groups of us adorn water towers, Often perched on high buildings, My owners pay rents to site me, But “Not in my Back Yard”, I am a practical, but ugly, mobile phone antenna, It’s true to say, “Nobody loves me”. A sample from my forthcoming book of poetry called "As I See", which will be available from mlpublishing@yahoo.co.uk at 3.99 inc post and packing. Does anybody else write poetry? Mike Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
Re: UnlovedI did when I as at school. My teacher always put my poems on the wall for others to read I've lost the knack now though, although I love poems.
Your poem above is brilliant, when is your book released?
Re: UnlovedHi Meg
It is in the printers for proofing at the moment, and should be avaiable in about two weeks. Thanks for your encouraging comment. Mike Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Re: UnlovedI dont write poetry but I did feel inspired to describe driving through the autumn countryside a couple of weeks ago....
""Enjoying driving through natures golden confetti as it dances its way down to the floor to be swept back up in a swirl of fiery gold to fluttery dance some more"" I wanted to write more but on the face book via a mobile phone, you are limited to how much you can write in one go. Your poem is very good, it gives the mast a sad emotion to make you want to go up to it and hug it, after all, we all need it to keep in touch with loved ones, so we should show it some love too! lol Taz xxxx Helping to give ex-battery hens a fresh start.....

Re: UnlovedHi Taz.
Quite an evocative, one line taster that. Would love to read some more. Why not write your poetry in a word proccesor, then left click edit , left click select all, then put the cursoor over any part of the highlighted text and right click, then left click copy. Open this thread and click on new post , put the cursor in the text box and right click, then click copy and your text will appear. If your computer is running windows, there is a word proccesor included in the package called wordpad and also notepad. Alternatively, you could send it to me mlpulishing@yahoo.co.uk and maybe we could get it published in a compendium of authors? This is a suggestion anybody could take me up on.
