I am! But I was wondering where I would get enough empty grolsh bottles to bottle 5 gallons of wine at a time!

In the pub, they are returnable!!

I've re-used screw-top bottles loads of times, never noticed any problem. I often don't even bother to sterilize them. (the wine doesn't usually stay in them long though) )grin2(

Step 1 ) Buy as many full ones as you need.
Step 2) Send 1/2 to Steve the Gas, send the other 1/2 to me.
With me so far +confused+
Step 3) Let us both know what day the Xmas party starts.
Step 4) If we manage to get as far as your house without getting waylaid. We will return the empty bottles to you.
Sorted enit! )c( )c( {rofwl}

I have problems getting those plastic corks out too, but they are much easier to put in than the real cork ones. I use a coin to lever them out.

These boys are being evil little so-and-so's of late, aren't they?

We've done a couple of 7 day kits recently, and they have been fine in the screw top bottles. The longest they have been in there though was about 3 weeks. Hic!

Ha ha ha - I did think that when I was hammering the corks in. However, as I really fancied a glass or two, it really wasn't funny when I could see it but not get to it....... }hairout{

When I finally opened it, I needed almost the whole bottle to soothe the trauma. >dum<
