Manda, do you have any local craft groups, spinners or smallholders who might be able to offer you advice and support?

At least with the sheep you have three avenues to go down, meat, milk and wool. I can see you making cheese next! )t'

I hope you enjoy your new hobby Manda. I have a friend who spins and the yarn comes out beautiful, you certainly got a bargain with your wheel too as you said they can be very expensive to buy. Good for you )t'

Nope but I can get a bucket easily and I have lots of bits of tree trunk I could sit on )grin2(
I would need to build a milking doodah for the sheep but Ihave the plans for those as I have a friend who milks goats so that would be relatively easy too :-D
