That's fab! I've seen work in art galleries that's less beautiful and imaginative.

There is an exhibition in our Art Centre at the moment called Throwaway World, artists have used a single used paper cup as a starting point for their artwork. I thought, 'I can do that'. :-D
Here is my used MacD cup.

I have covered the cup in gold stickyback foil, the metal scroll bracelet is 40 years old, (save things that might come in usefull), straws from the Scrapstore, red bow from a box of chocs, pink pearls in bead box. Inside is cat litter with a polystyrene lid, topped with a bit of pink body scrubber. I have painted the top rim in red nail varnish. And it has been accepted for the exhibition, I'm going to see where they have put it later today.

Ilona, if you used recycled cat litter I'm guessing it will be put somewhere near an open window :-D

I thought using dirty cat litter was a step too far. {rofwl} It will be recycled later and used for it's original purpose, when I dismantle it. )t'

I am drawn towards bright colours, Richard, I think they lift the spirit. I want to squash doom and gloom, and don't do dull and miserable. Cheap and cheerfull that's me.

Cat litter has many diversities. As you know, I used mine for de-icing the snow acting as grit.
Unused can be good gravel on a train set (as long as the cat isn't allowed in the attic!)

There are many things you can use for something else. I remember being asked by my wife why I had c****ms in my hiking rucksack. I still think she's suspicious and won't accept they're good emergency water carriers (they are, seriously)!
