Plumbing (Toilet) Help.

Post by Orfy »

The cistern on the toilet fills very slowly.
Drip by drip. It flushes okay.

I have no experience with the newer push button mechanisms.
Does any one know if there is a common fault and if it's easy to fix?
I'd prefer not to replace if I don't have to.

Thanks.

If filling slowly, due you have any restrictions to the flow of water in?
i.e. kinked flexi, isolation tap/fitting turned down?

If not most push button cistern lids come off by unscrewing the outer ring of the button.
Then flush and see what is happening....
I'll keep an eye on this thread, more info and pics the better.
