What a great idea..then just plant the entire thing in the ground/pot the egg will break down eventually and also help feed your plan

I've seen it done with cress. Draw a face and grow your own green-haired Egghead.
Never thought of it for other veg.

I copied this idea and my seeds where coming on great then my german shepherd pup decided to eat the shells!! All that was left was bits of earth and chewed and spat out seedlings. She looked so pleased with herself i had to laugh. {rofwl}
Enthusiastic veg grower. Trying to be more frugal. Family:Much loved husband, son, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 8 ex batts soon to arrive.
