hmm i might take this approach nick with mine. Mine is still the same as it is in the picture, I've had enough of ripping apart pallets now - i just need someone to do it for me xx

The garden fork trick is magic - I spent an entire afternoon sweating over one pallet, then came on here & looked to see what other people had done, and managed five the next afternoon!

Al, i just got around to trying the garden fork approach today - ill be honest i wasn't hopeful because i thought it would be hard, but i did one pallet in a bout 5 minutes!!

It really was, I'd got to a stage of just getting no where with a lump hammer and crow bar and i'd just had enough, and i only needed about 4 more pieces for the bench xx
